After several years and more than one hundred episodes of their sports podcast One Hour School Wide, Mr. Merz’s Sports Podcasting class expanded the show in a new direction by partnering with Doke’s Broadcast Journalism students. Through this ongoing collaboration, the podcast has evolved from an audio-only format into a video production.

The podcasting students contribute their experience in planning, scripting, and hosting the show, while the broadcast journalism students lead the visual side—filming, editing, and adding graphics and other visual elements. Together, they combine their strengths to produce video episodes that bring One Hour School Wide to an even wider audience.

New video episodes are released regularly on their YouTube channel OneHourSchoolWidePodcast, and audio episodes continue to stream on Spotify and other major podcast platforms.
